FAQ Friday: Rejection

On Friday, March 28th, Attorney, Paula Mattson-Sarli talks about when a bank rejects your Power of Attorney.

When a client lets us know that a bank or financial institution has rejected their power of attorney, our first suggestion is to always escalate it to the corporate location or their supervisor.

Since 2010, there was a law change and our Maryland Power of Attorney form need to be accepted.

We help facilitate your wishes on agents and on if that is co-agents while still maintaining the industry standard.

If you have a power of attorney from 10 years ago, it may still be valid, but maybe it could use updating due to agent designations needing updates.
